As Markinson's Chairman, working with the other members of the board bringing together their complimentary skills, Mark is focused on setting the strategic direction of the company.

In his role, Mark maintains Markinson's focus on providing innovative, focused software solutions and services for the supply-chain industry; a focus which is a strong differentiator for the company and helps in ensuring its ongoing success.

In addition to over two decades industry experience, Mark has interests in a number of businesses, has a Bachelor of Business from the University of Southern Queensland and is a member of the Australian Computer Society.

A high-energy individual, Garth has an impressive track record spanning over 20 years in transforming and developing businesses into market leading successes across the globe.

Garth is recognised as being a globally experienced business IT professional with a remarkable talent for identifying and developing highly successful business opportunities.

Garth's most recent accomplishment was the successful establishment of Navision, the former world renowned Danish-based software company, in Australia followed by operations in New Zealand and Singapore.

Working internationally in many roles, Garth has gained a great depth of management experience from a diverse range of perspectives and brings an excellent dynamic to the Markinson board.

In addition to his involvement with Markinson, Garth has interests in a number of technology companies, and is  Chairman of Brisbane-based Business Intelligence (BI) and Corporate Performance Planning software provider, ZAP Technology.

Educated in New Zealand, Garth qualified as a chartered accountant and has held senior executive positions, including financial controller and general management positions, in Australia and around the world.

Ian is Chief Executive Officer of Markinson Business Solutions, a privately owned Australian provider of business software solutions to the commercial environment.  Ian joined Markinson in 2006 delivering exceptional growth within the small and medium retail and distribution market across Australasia, and was appointed CEO in March 2008 assuming full management responsibility for the execution of Markinson’s Vision; Customer Focused: People Inspired.

Ian’s brings a wealth of business applications experience to Markinson, and was responsible for the introduction of Netsuite, Navision and Great Plains software into Australia and New Zealand.  In a previous role, Ian was also Managing Director of Aston Business Solutions – the Australian arm of the largest global Microsoft Business Solutions re-seller at the time.

Brisbane born and educated, Ian holds several degrees in Business and Information Technology and is a Certified Practicing Accountant.
