Purchase orders are used to order your inventory, either for replacement purposes or for special customer orders. Shopkeeper Plus makes your job easy by bringing all of your purchasing into one place.
Manual or automated Purchasing enables users to manage their purchasing process through a variety of strategies, ranging from fully manual user-specified purchase quantities, through to fully-automated system-specified purchase quantities.
Suggested orders are calculated from the minimum and maximum stock levels, quantities in stock, back orders that need to be filled, and items already on order. If you are short of stock, the system will let you add those items onto the PO without having to retype them. Similarly, if you have a special order for a customer simply add it onto a purchase order. In fully automatic mode, Shopkeeper Plus combines these stock parameters with actual sales history and supplier lead times to ensure stock holdings are optimised.
You can even send your purchase orders to your suppliers via e-mail.
Our Open to Buy module enables you to create budgets for sales and buying planning. The module automatically updates your budgets whenever any purchasing decisions have been made. Monthly budgets may be entered as far in to the future as required, and we offer comprehensive reporting to help you with all of your purchasing.
Shopkeeper Plus helps you to manage overseas purchasing with ease. Purchase orders issued in a foreign currency can be stored with a separate ex-works (FOB) foreign cost price, allowing for conversion to local currency for payment on receipt of a purchase order.
